A young boy is in hospital today fighting for his life after being hit by a four-wheel drive traveling on Bindi Bindi-Toodyay road, near the intersection of Coondle Drive, about 11.20am on Monday.

The 10 year old boy was riding his bike along the road when the four wheel drive struck the boy.

A Rescue helicopter flew to the nearby Toodyay Oval and medically evacuated the injured child to the Perth Children’s Hospital.

The driver of the four wheel drive is assisting police in their investigation.
