WA Police and the state of Western Australia is offering a reward of up to 1 million dollars for information that leads to the capture of the shooter from last Saturday night's shooting at Perth Motorplex.

“Our government stands with the police to bring the person responsible for this crime to justice.” Michelle Roberts (WA Police minister) said. “Today our government is announcing a reward of up to 1 million dollars for information about that killing on the weekend. It is an unprecedented reward for a crime of this nature.”

The reward is likely to come from the recent 30 million dollars seized by WA Police. “That money could be the money used to pay this reward.” Michelle Roberts (WA Police minister) said.

“This was a credible disturbing incident” Brad Royce said. A reward of up to $1 million dollars is on the table “We want them behind bars.” Police minister said “and rather than delay... The reward our best opportunity is to offer that opportunity first up.”

Concerns over just who can claim the reward was also said by the WA Minister of Police “There maybe some prospect of some immunity from prosecution providing that the person that comes forward isn’t the actual main perpetrator.” she went on to say “This is a crime that can not go unpunished. The offender needs to be brought to justice.”

The reward which has WA tax payers worried has “The premier and the government's support.” Michelle Roberts  (WA Police minister) said.
