Join Regan and Josh for another episode of Sports Wrap. In huge news, Hockey Wrap makes its debut with Fremantle Cockburn star Luke Lawson taking us through all things WA Hockey. The T20 World Cup ends in dramatic fashion with India taking it out but as we do in every series/tournament we provide the only Australian Player Ratings you need. Lastly, as we move towards the Footy Forecast – a new show premiering on Sports Wrap this week, a star was born with Josh Draper standing up and being pivotal in the Dockers 1-point win over the red-hot Swans.
It’s another massive week on Sports Wrap with Simmo and Dukie – but with Dukie about to take some well-earned long service leave, Simmo and Dukie have a guest host stepping into the hot seat and it’s none other than Dangerous Dan Coverly – footy tragic, wildcard analyst, and long-time friend of the show. Strap in, because things are about to get loose.
This week, the boys debut a brand-new segment: Around the Grounds – a fast-paced whip around the world of sport where Simmo, Dukie and Dan break down all the major action across the AFL, EPL, NFL, and beyond. From goal fests in the Premier League to the injury carnage in the AFL, no stone is left unturned.
Simmo also unleashes his trademark rage in What Boils My Piss, taking aim at the week’s most frustrating footy farces, fan behaviour, and anything else that’s got him seething. But it’s not all fire and brimstone – he brings the love in What Tickles My Pickle, tipping his cap to the moments, players, or random sporting goodness that put a smile on his dial.
And of course, no episode would be complete without the deep dive into The Good, The Bad and The Ugly from the weekend's AFL action. The boys break down the standouts, the shockers, and the downright bizarre – from clutch performances to umpiring howlers and everything in between.
Whether you're a die-hard fan or just here for the banter, this ep has something for everyone.
Leesy, Simmo, and Dukie return for another wild ride in this week’s episode of Sports Wrap! The boys are back with their trademark banter and antics, keeping things lively even as the footy season winds down. Simmo is struggling to cope with the off-season blues but still brings plenty of laughs with his ever-popular segments, "What Boils My Piss!" where he rants about the little things that drive him crazy, and "Simmo's Life Hacks," featuring some unconventional advice you probably won’t find in any self-help book.
Dukie takes the reins with a rundown of the top five sports news stories making waves, ranging from big wins to epic fails, and then shifts gears for an in-depth look at the 2005/06 AFL drafts, dissecting the hits, misses, and long-term impacts on the league. He shares some lesser-known facts and offers his take on how those selections shaped the future of the AFL.
Leesy is at the helm, broadcasting from the "Caravan of Courage"—though some would say it’s more like the "Caravan of Despair" as he battles through the madness. Things take a turn when Dukie throws him off with a questionable countdown, leading to a hilariously awkward moment where Leesy finds himself caught needing the loo or holding his "gentleman sausage" (You Decide!) when the show returns from break a little earlier than expected. The unscripted chaos adds an extra layer of comedy that only Sports Wrap can deliver.
Tune in for all the laughs, banter, and insights as the boys tackle the latest in sports, share their outrageous opinions, and somehow keep the show on track. Whether you're here for the in-depth sports analysis or just a good laugh, this episode has a bit of everything to keep you entertained.
