This week’s journey begins deep in the heart of Africa, where rhythms pulse through the soil and music tells the stories of generations. From traditional beats to contemporary sounds, Davy shines a light on the vibrant music scene of Zimbabwe — a country rich in culture, spirit, and song.

But the trip doesn’t stop there. Davy then takes us southward across the seas to the lush landscapes of New Zealand. There, he uncovers a nostalgic gem from the beloved Kiwi animated film Footrot Flats: The Dog’s Tale. It's a trip down memory lane as he rediscovers the chart-topping anthem Slice of Heaven by Dave Dobbyn and Herbs — a song that captured hearts across the world and still brings a smile today.

With Davy as your guide, you’ll travel through soundscapes that span continents and cultures, blending storytelling, history, and irresistible tunes. Whether you’re discovering something new or reconnecting with an old favourite, Around the World with Davy Sims promises another unforgettable audio adventure.
